Was looking forward to making this my regular nail place but the quality is really horrible. The lady is very nice and thorough, but the nail polish application by the man was so bad one of my nails chipped not even 2 days after I put the polish, and when I went back and showed him he was super rude about it and refused to refund me. There are other places with similar prices in the neighbourhood, don’t waste your time.
I’ve been getting my nails done at Quincy for over a year and I have never been disappointed! I get acrylics and they’re always great and rarely break. Staff has always been very warm to me as well. Honestly the best place quality/price!
I’ve been coming here regularly (once a month) for about a year now. Prices are really good, they’re usually able to fit me in if I call the day of, and up until this week I’ve been satisfied with the service/quality. So this week, I went in Monday night for a gel mani/pedi. I asked for pure white, and had such a hectic workday I basically fell asleep in the massage pedicure chair. When they started on my hands, I noticed that the colour was more of a sheer white. They tried to fix it by doing a layer of pure white on top, and it didn’t look right but I didn’t want to be a Karen so I said nothing, tipped and left. When I got out into natural light, I noticed how terrible a job he did. My feet were done by a lady and she did a good job, just the colour was wrong. My hands were done by a man and they were a mess. Not only was the colour not pure white, it was streaky, there were bubbles/bumps, edges were very messy, and polish was on my cuticles. He used his bare sharp nail instead of a cotton pad to remove excess polish which I also thought was kinda gross. I showed them to my mom and she basically said ew call them and have them fix them, so I did and he was pretty nice over the phone about it and made me an appointment. I went on the Friday to have them fixed. The guy was defensive about it and said I asked for pearl white (fine, pure and pearl are close, but I wouldn’t call the colour he did pearl either) and he showed me the colour before applying (blatant lie, he definitely didn’t). Then he made me wait there an hour to be seen even though I had an appointment for the time I arrived at. The same man who did my hands originally redid my hands and feet. He did a much better job this time, but he was a bit aggressive and hurt me a few times with the nail drill and cuticle pusher. He was also a bit rude to me. As I was leaving, he asked for my phone number and looked for it in his phone, so I think he blocked my number or left a note in my contact or something lol Overall, there are other equally cheap places in the area, so this place will no longer be my first choice. If I do go back, I’ll request to not be with this guy.
Best nail place in the area! My gel manicure always stays on for a really long time and doesn't chip. They also have never turned me down even for same-day appointments. I still go back to them consistently even though I have other closer options nearby
